Apologies that the cover is so beat-up and that there is some writing on the RAWS, this is my literal childhood copy and I wrote down some milestones (like when I beat the game.) The pages themselves are all in pretty good shape though.

• Being Uploaded: One zip has 1200dpi RAW tif files
• One zip has 1200dpi RAW jpg files
• One zip has lightly edited 1200dpi jpg files
• The largest pdf is the exact same 600dpi files and was saved as uncompressed
• There is a zip and a pdf with compressed 300dpi files: if you need to save on space or bandwidth
• The other files were made by archive.org's software and will have compression

I only archive works that have been out-of-print for decades. I will not post anything that is in print or that gets reprinted.

This is a really fun piece that has a lot of Mario art and some really great illustrations for Link from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. It's from a postcard and was scanned and sent to me by Ikhana, who was a Guinness Record holder for the largest Zelda collection at one point. High Res Art from the PAAS Zelda Easter Egg Kit

The ever incredible collector, Ikhana, generously scanned the fun little pieces from the PAAS Easter Egg Decorating Kit, Glitter Mario Paint. 1993. The Zelda Egg-Quest Adventure. You can find them scattered throughout the woefully incomplete Link to the Past section of the gallery.

There's 7 total: Link, Zelda, a talking tree, a fortune teller, a fairy, one of the blacksmiths, and Agahnim.

New BSZelda Art Added

There was art created for the Nintendo Satellaview that was broadcast, it wasn't part of the download package, so the only way we have them is because someone recorded it on VHS, saved it, and got it online. The source for these is Makuchan on YouTube. You can find out more about the games from the BS Zelda Homepage.

I had some of them uploaded but recently went back and searched for any I missed. I believe I found 3 more. I have them next to their watercolor images that are (mislabeled and) in the Zelda 1 section of Hyrule Historia. The watercolors were likely done by Yōichi Kotabe.

This is an additional publication that came with the December 20, 1991 issue of Marukatsu Super Famicom (マル勝スーパーファミコン) volume 20. It was published by Kadokawashoten.

It's a guide for first part of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Triforce of the Gods) and the back of the book contains a small manga for each of the first 3 Zelda games. Hyrule Fantasy (Author: Tsukasa Nishino,) The Adventure of Link (Author: Ayumu Takanaga,) and A Link to the Past (Author: Show Honda.) The manga is read in the opposite direction than the front of the book.

They seem to have interview quotes with Miyamoto in it that do confirm a simple little timeline. Like obviously there was one but it's a small fun fact about it: https://twitter.com/makgameadv/status/1620227664715055107

This is also a cool little book because it has even more manga examples of Link with a fairy companion years before the introduction of Navi. The novels, gamebooks, and manga are interesting for reasons like this.

Russian scanlation & restoration of the 1986 Hyrule Fantasy manga by Ran Maru is complete!

The Russian translation team working on the original Legend of Zelda manga by Ranmaru has finished volume one and it is stunning. It's absolutely worth checking out just to see the amazing restoration job MrSusan1n has done and Olga edited the color pages.

Sorry for the absence

Update February 8, 2023: Turns out that the reason I've had a hard time getting much done since last summer is because I'm going through the beginning stages of Addison's Disease. This is a rare, often life altering and deadly, autoimmune disorder where my body attacks my adrenal glands and, eventually, I will stop producing essential hormones. The fix is simple in theory: you just take the hormones your body is no longer able to produce. The devil is in the details though but, hopefully, I'll still be working away on scans and official art with just some hiccups happening in the background. People with it, on the right doses of the right medications, can apparently live fairly normal lives and lifespans so... here we go!

Update Jan 22, 2023: It was a nightmare to try to work on a macbook, it takes me days to accomplish tasks that only take a few hours on a PC, so I just gave up and decided to play videogames until my back got better. It's mid January now, 2023, and I'm finally starting to be able to sit at a desk again so hopefully I'll be working again soon. Spinal disk injuries are simply slow to heal.

I also think my anxiety and lack of energy and brain fog may have just been my thyroid medication needing to be on a higher dose. Now that that is being adjusted it's going away and I'm actually able to focus on tasks like I could before.

Original Post October 2022: I'm setting up a new laptop so I can work on things again!

If you follow me on twitter you'll see that I've been taking care of my mom, who has terminal cancer, for the past year and a half. For a little while, in the past few months, my anxiety and ADHD started to get bad and I stopped being able to focus on anything but her. It started to level out but one thing I didn't post about, until yesterday, is that I hurt my back a few weeks ago and have basically been stuck in bed ever since. I can't actually sit in a chair because the pressure on the hurt spot in my spine is unbearable so I finally decided I just need to set everything up so I can work on things in bed. Honestly I thought it would heal up on its own after 5 weeks, because that often happens, so I didn't try to make any accommodations to work on things because I thought I would be able to go back to my normal set-up. So basically I just played a whole lot of videogames (mainly finished a bunch of projects in my Minecraft world, lol.) But now it's clear I might be this way for quite a bit and I'm super tired of not making any progress on Zelda preservation, translations, and art. It's honestly driving me crazy. So I'm sucking it up and am going to make it work somehow.

I also got a new backup drive that's HUGE. Somehow I managed to fill up my last new one, that was 2TB, in just a few months  of scanning and downloading scans and art. lol, whoops! So over the next few days I will be moving files and trying to get back to people and organize my mind so I can figure out where I left off and where I need to start up again.
